Dear Julian,
We had a lifetime dream to one-day turn our farmhouse from a cottage into a homestead we could be proud of and would be an investment for the farm and our future. That has now become reality, and we are delighted with our “new” home.
This would never have been achieved painlessly without your fantastic help and guidance. Right from the start with the initial meetings we had with you, you have handled all the building, sub-contractors and our endless worries and queries with tact and professionalism. When the job was started little did I realise that cement would be wheelbarrowed through the house, the constant sawdust and the plaster dust would creep into everything, the worry of rain when the top storey was going on, a midnight delivery of roofing iron during a downpour with a bogged truck would happen, and that a builder would fall off the roof! We have no greyhairs! I think you’ve got them, but you handled everything with aplomb even ensuring that the roofing company rang and apologised to us for their inconvenience. You made sure we had total peace of mind throughout the whole building operation. I would strongly recommend to anybody contemplating building they use your company and services as you made the whole exercise fun and our new home a pleasure when it was completed.
The quote that you submitted was laid out well, and we appreciated the optional extras and prices that you gave us so that we knew exactly what it was costing us and could finance it accordingly. So at the end of the final payment we had “no surprises” to floor us. Our Accountant was most impressed with your billing system, as it was well laid out, explained well and any variation covered by a note.
Your builders and sub-contractors were a pleasure to have on the property, always polite, respected our space and had a ready smile and joke.
We are very proud and pleased with our “new” home.
